Easy seven layer bars are a delightful treat that combines a variety of flavors and textures in a single, decadent dessert. This no-bake dessert is perfect for parties, family gatherings, or simply indulging your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans work well)
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step is crucial as it ensures even baking and helps develop the perfect texture.
In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and resemble wet sand.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over the crust, followed by the butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts.
Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top, making sure to cover all the layers.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
